Nope, the pilot-in-command got the heebee-jeebees, freaked out and elected to abort the take-off roll 12 knots above V1 when the No. 03 PW JT9D suffered a compressor stalled after the engine ingested a kestrel (Om nom, nom nom nom... Yummy.).The Kalita 747 accident was most probably due to a fuselage defect resulting from hard landing.
