suddenly quite weird to see them in this terminal.

nice catch and thanks for sharing seii7.

Anybody tried digiscoping with aviation photography especially for those who are regular avian photographers and watchers as well?

Was just looking at spotting scope such as the Celestron C5 (Schmidt-Cassegrain) and C90 (Maksutov-Cassegrain) spotter with a focal length of 1250mm at just US$$483.46 / US$439.95 and US$149.95 before shipping and taxes respectively in both Amazon and B&H.

Obviously focusing will be an issue due to its lack of an auto focusing mechanism and also its rather small aperture but what about other aspect wise, I reckon that it wouldn't hurt (pocket wise) to purchase one to try exploring options with it and it seems fairly compact enough for the Celestron C90 (Maksutov-Cassegrain) spotter?

I feel its difficult to use,
-too heavy to handheld
-movement restricted if tripod mounted
-another hand needed to do focus
-angle eyepiece plus narrow field of view makes it hard to aim.

not exactly a digiscope but have a 800mm mirror
never got to use til it grew some fungus, few weeks back after returning overseas took some time to diy clean.
share some shots taken after that, pardon the dust, didn't do a good cleaning job.

Anyway its not easy to use, these are the few that can share cos the rest are mostly OOF
