it has beean a while now since i stoped shooting aircraft, share with you all this 2 shots i took today.
wonder whats that black and white thingy ? don't remember seeing that before on this aircraft.
Thats the hook for the hook wire, used during emergency.
It's a tail hook.
More commonly seen on naval aircraft.
For land based aircraft..
Useful when the brakes fail...

Changi: Changi Beach at the north, Changi Business Park area in the south. My workplace is around Changi Beach so I take from there.
Paya Lebar. There are some who take near Ubi / Paya Lebar / Macpherson area.
I haven't tried planespotting at any of the other airports yet.
Actually, all fighter jets have a tail hook. It's only a question of how big it is. The f-16's hook is tiny as it's not meant to be used daily.
And Singapore doesn't even have a/c carrier. So no use de lol. Maybe uses in oversea training?
And, does anyone know how to identify this?

Its a SIA 744 alright, but a tall truck prevented me from capturing the serial number of the plane.
