Nice pictures, did you manage to take this at Kaki Bukit road 2 site ? ;p

Though I work with planes on almost a daily basis, I never really had a chance to actually take photographs of them courtesy of a certain Andrew Gerard. So here is my APAD (A Plane A Day) project, a compilation of aviation photographs consolidated over the past months.

Comments and critiques are welcome.

Well, SASCO primarily does a lot of aircraft heavy maintenance and modifications such as C checks, D checks and Passenger-To-Freighter (PTF) conversions on the DC-10 and MD-11. ;)

Aound KB areas, not just any specific spot. Someimes you will have a better shot if you shoot it from carparks on building top level oin that areas.:)

Agree, but these days. Real hard to scout for a nice clear view wonder if any nice spotting of Rwy 02 view. A contact last time told me Lor Halus hill top can see the whole beautiful view of the runway.

Isn't that A Hungarian Private Jet?
Are you referring to the Beechcraft King Air C90B (VH-PFK) taken by Gilcrest? The aircraft is operated by ST Aerospace Training Academy (STATA) as a trainer aircraft to qualify cadet pilots for a multi-engine rating pilot license. ;)

I see another possible new addition to the family, all the best for your next interview though I sincerely hoped that you had carefully considered being a LAME as the best possible career path for yourself. Ten years is a very, very long period of time. :)

Just be careful of the authorities.

The King Air also being used for RSAF transport Wing training. Article below

Indeed best is to keep clear of restrictive area especially around all sensitive airfields.

Your shots around WSSS and WSAT are really fantastic. Any big jets coming in WSAP for maintenance soon ? Have seen ANA 744 on approach while driving along TPE sometime back. :)

For those who are taking Singapore Airlines planes, please note that they are retiring the Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200ER series. Especially the B744. Currently, they are flying for FRA and JFK, every night at 2340hrs and NRT/LAX at 0940hrs. The A345 is departing for LAX at 1620hrs on certain days.

Catch them if you can.

Nah im not worried about the bond. Yah i know 10 years is long. but ive considered thoughtfully this is the line of career i wanna be in. If im not successful theres still EC rite!

Yup!! catch them if you can...the A345s are a rare breed in SQ's fleet. They only have 5 of them. Mostly for ultra long flts.

As for the 744s...only 9 are operational...sad to see them go away.:(

Anyway im still anticipating for their arrival of those 787s...thou its still years more...hahaha...does anyone know what engines they are fitted with? Trent 1000?

Just drove passed KPE flyover before entering KPE tunnel below WSAP, saw a ATI DC-8 took off towards the north. Fantastic view of the rotation.

Can't recall the time, was too engrossed at the sight of take off as I managed to slow down the car on the left lane. Managed to see a Fedex MD-11 parked at one of the remote bay too. :bsmilie:
