I have not applied the screen protector on my X70 yet and don't plan to do do lol.

I also used my test set back then nude within the lens cap in out of my bag, jacket and there was never a scratch on it (phew)

It's a touch screen , why meddle with it ?

Yup, I use the filter adapter for my own set lol. But just to share that dos the test set where I used it nude , it was tougher than expected

LOL.. Front element so exposed.. I got a lh-x70 set... And a 49mm filter.. But I can't figure out how to go about fixing it on... Any clues?

Attached the hood adapter and then put on the filter. That's it.

Another way is to flip the filter upside down. But doing that will shortened the distance between front element and filter glass. During focusing the front element may touch the filter glass. Risky thing to do though

U need to remove the front circular ring on the X70 first , then screw on the adapter followed by the filter

Did you remove the front circular ring? Post a pic of the camera as how you tried to mount the filter. Easier to see if there's a problem with the camera

Bro , u dismount the front circular ring , then mount the adapter to the camera and the filter to the adapter lol. It's 49mm confirm.
