my hint to u is the IT show. There may not be a price discount but Fujifilm MAY bring back the hood / adapter accessory as an additional free gift for the IT show.

no need. It can communicate directly with the phone via the app

Step 1 - enable WiFi on camera
Step 2 - connect phone WiFi to camera
Step 3 - open app, press connect

Optional step if connect to different devices, press okay on camera.

No external network required.

Actually if your not in your home network or any known WiFi location
once you turned ON wifi on your camera, by right you phone will automatically connect to your camera, just like a normal wifi hotspot. Assuming your phone's WiFi is ON ofcourse.

with that, you can straight away go to FuJi App

not sure if anyone has used their X70 for landscapes, even at ISO100, F8...when I pushed the shadows, its very grainy sia..unusable de :(

After all , it is still apsc.
You push the shadow to max is it ?

Fuji iso100 only jpeg no Raw leh , try Raw iso 200 see how...

haha yeah am aware its still a APSC afterall, no leh in lightroom i only increase by 15-20 nia iirc..

will try again..anyone tried landscapes with X70? :p
 

Just trying my luck. Anyone sick of the X70 and thinking of selling it let me know. Thanks!
