It 18-135 STM IS lens KIT set. Meaning camera with kit lens. Not LENs only.
So far 70D grey set are not worth which almost same price as local set.
I know what is kit lens. What i meant was the whole set was very expensive with the kit lens.

The grey 18-135 lens u mentioned that cost less than $400 is it the new STM version?

Paris Silk has quite good prices. I bought my 70D body only for $1319.

Hi,

Does anyone know a good price roughly to pick up the 70D Kit II now?

Thanks!

Any 70D user with EF 85mm f1.8?
Any photo too see? TIA.

55-250mm is a very nice lens. Small enough, light enough, very good image quality and very effective Image Stabilizer... well worth every cents. I know... because I used one for a long time before hand ichy (and after a big bonus by my company) I upgraded to a 70-200mm f4L.

Is the 70-200mm L f/4 better than the 55-250mm in your opinion. I'm using the 70-200mm L f4 USM myself but someone told me 55 - 250 might be better in terms of sharpness and image quality. And also STM works better. Please share your thoughts on your 55-250mm & 70-200mm L f4

Sharpness and image quality are not the only properties that defines a picture.

Shoot more, worry less.

Selling off as 2nd hand is definitely make you lose money if you have bought it new.

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to here, as I'm deciding to buy a 70D and google to find that there is a case that 70D has this focusing issue.

Would like to check whether anyone counter this problem?

I have had my 70D for a couple of months now and i have used it overseas and in various weather conditions. I've not had any issues with focussing.

Could u explain more about what issues you have read abt?

Sorry, not able to paste link here. (Due to newbie whose posting did not meet requirement)

You can go to google or youtube, type on "70D focus issue". Its a autofocusing issue when you uses fast lenses (f1.4) and uses VF.

Its start off in Germany, now seen that some 70D in other part of Europe and US have this issue too.

That is why, i would like to check whether any photographer's 70D in Singapore and South East Asia have this issue.

Oh ok... I have used a the 50mm f1.8. And i havent had any difficulties or issues... Yep i don't have other lenses of such apertures..

Seen some videos on YouTube on these issues. It only happens when focusing with the view finder and when using large aperture lenses (f2.8 or wider). One workaround would be to use the LCD monitor to zoom in and fine focus. Honestly, I have used it with such lenses and can find no problem at all.

Thanks portal and good to hear another happy 70D user. 😊

Hi I am a frequent user of the EF-S 55-250 on a 450D body for many years. Used them often to take photos of my student's during outdoor games and they are a good pair of entry level telephoto lens. I also use them to teach basic camera skills to the kids. Thinking of changing to a 70D soon.

Hi! All. I am interested in the 70D notice it has a advance autofocusing system & high speed burst shot mode. Currently i have the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, 18-250mm & Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 on my eos 650d. Will these lenses have any autofocusing & high speed burst mode issues on the 70D in terms of compatibility?

Won't have any problems..But even better performance

What is the current price? It seems that there is a great disparaity between trade-in and non trade-in.
