The cheapest I can find is $2650.
I got mine 6D Kit at Alan Funan for $3565 with extreme 64 SD card last week.

I don't think the dealer can give much discount on body due to the price control and profit margin, but people like me desperate of getting a full frame body ask for accessories and i hope its a good deal. ;p

Not when we hold it with our hands and use the phone to activate the shutter. Makes composition a lot more easier than blindly aiming it

The only shot that was done remotely,away from my hands was within Louvre itself and it was pretty safe.

In comparison, i had handed my 1DX to another tourist at Big Ben previously and he looked like he was going to run off with my camera after taking the shot:bsmilie:

Its not memory, its my experience..may not be as good as your experience but good enough for me to make my own judgment regarding my gears/future gears...if the 6D is good enough for you, go get it..i'm not saying its a bad camera coz its a good one...just that its not convincing me enough..:think:

35 f/2 IS is already out in some European countries, so the 24-70 f/4 IS should not be too far off. Anyway, I have faith in Canon Japan... or maybe I'm hoping against hope. :bsmilie:

Yes at the time when i tested the 6D..limited time..thats my finding compared to my 5d3 i've had for few mths..lens used were also different but like i said, your cup of tea doesnt mean mine too..& 6D is by no means a bad camera just that it doesnt convince me..just like 5d3 to you..both cameras have got their plus & minus..

Sry my qns is almost like needing a fortune teller to answer. if takes more than 6 mths, i might as well buy it now because im going overseas next mth. if sooner than 6 mths, i can use my existing rebel for a while

Hi, based on Canon's forecast, don't expect the price to drop tremendously in 6 months. Like if you're expecting $200 drop, there's no way, especially cos Canon is still keeping limited stocks in the market now.

My pleasure! I think at most you can expect to drop within 50-80 in 6 months, anything beyond that is unrealistic. My 2 cents' worth based on Canon's stock allocation!

The store is inside the transit area. Hence the price should be exclusive of GST for all departing passengers.
