seems like the catch is also to bu the EF10-22 in order to get the shopping voucher.. but $925 does look attractive !
Yes, it does looked attractive as the additional original battery itself costs at least $60 if you were to purchase it separately.

Same here.. Bought last month. Collected the battery, but haven use yet. Bought a 3rd party battery grip. Been using that..
Why not kit 2? The 18-135mm looks better.

Actually i'm thinking of 135, but due to budget constrains, i got the 18-55. Not that bad actually, just have to go closer, which i don't mind, better than standing a distance away and look like a perv haha.

I do have the budget for the kit 2, but i got the kit 1 with 50mm f1.4 to play with dof.
Got it for 449 which i feel is worth it. The f1.4 is awesome. Nice creamy bokeh.
Im playing ard with the 18-55 first before upgrading.
