Does anyone know what possible kit lenses might come with the 60D upgrade?

Canon hasn't announced any new EF-S kit lens. So probably you will get the same old trio of 18-55, 18-135 and 18-200. And as many have said, buy what you can afford, when you need it. No point waiting for an unannounced camera while you miss out on months of opportunities to take great shots.

By the way I am selling my 60D and 15-85 lens, if you are interested to get it second-hand. (Sorry couldn't resist advertising for myself!)

Some of my friends recommended me to get at MS color instead of Funan since they have good service and price matcher.

Any1 else just bought recently this kind of kit with good deal...

Was thinking of also getting the 50mm Prime lens 1.8 2

I got the same combo recently without any freebie from Harvey Norman for a pretty decent deal. Go down and check few shops in funan. Reg freebies, I suggest u choose what u want rather than let them bundle and most of the time, those are just peanuts which u can get anywhere else.

With the recent launch of the 5Dmk3, many people are selling the 5Dmk2 and many 60D owners are selling their 60D to buy the 5ds…so you will see ALOT of 60D for sale here and really competitive price.
Honestly, this is the best time to buy 2nd hand cameras now…it's like a fire sale…i know because i had to sell my 60D with 2 lenses and batt grip and 3yr warranty for only $1.1k!!! That's a really low price but because everyone is selling low, i had to sell lower..because i had to pay for my mk3 hehe..
So do look at the BnS thread..you will find really good deals on 2nd hand 60D…get one with warranty and don't need to look at buying brand new in shops..all the freebies they give you won't need or use..trust me..in fact, 2nd hand also can get the freebies…i gave away all my freebies to the guy that bought it anyways..never used..

Welcome to the DSLR club. I once used a 60D and its a very good cam and i recommend to one colleague and a friend. One also using 17-55mm and he loves the fast F2.8 lens like u.

Wow...looks like there are quite a number of 60Ders jumping ship! The 5D MK3 is deliciously tempting but I think I will be losing quite a lot from my EFS lenses.

Just like to check if there is anyone who uses a 70-200 on their 60D? The weight is quite off-balance right? I am wondering if the battery grip helps to make the grip better? Any advise?

I use Canon E-1 handstrap..... i got it for around $45 i think.... long time back...

I do not use any shoulder strap usually, but just the hand strap.....

May I know if I get a 60d with a 17-40mm L lens combo for more on scenery and zoom features... Is it a good combo rather than get a 18-135mm
