Yes, nowadays big stores like Harvey Norman are getting very competitve. You can actually bargain with them.

YES. and they don't show black faces when you play with their cameras or notebooks

I am warming up to them ( finally )

Joining the club! just got mine today! *excited* haha

Hey guys congrats on your purchases... I saw a couple of reviews online complaining that the buttons dont really feel good when u press them especially the wheel with the new multi-dpad thingy... How do you guys find them?

At first, really having problem getting the right button/dial to do the right stuff cause the buttons/dial layout is very different from wh, at I used to have.

After two to three trips of shooting, starting to get used to the button/dial. Once awhile still pressing the wrong button.

After a week, no problem at all.;)

Hi Peeps, my viewfinder is acting up on me! It is very blur when viewing thro it! Is this normal? Its only less than a week old!

'Whoa, that's really cheap from Parisilk! I'm hoping to get the 60D this weekend. :) I usually get stuff from there.. wonder how they get to sell it so competitively though.'

This is true about Parisilk H.V, their prices for Cash Transaction is very tempting.;p
I actually purchased a few of mine equipments there but never a Canon coz I using Nikon la:bsmilie::bsmilie:

There is this very small gear type thingy near the viewfinder... u need to adjust it so that ur AF points will be much clearer. :-D

Recompose your shots and try to focus again, something the viewfinder blur happen becoz the DOF is very swallow. ;)
Are u doing close up food shots? It happens something due to this reason.

Yeah... it is true that the buttons don't really feel good... it is responsive... just... doesn't feel shiok...

btw, for everyone info, using the dpad, which just one touch u can select ur AF points. The set is for center, then up down left right upleft upright downleft downright reflect the 9 AF points available...

Hi, I plan on getting a 60D as an upgrade for my 1000D. But I do want to check if there is any battery grip for the 60D??

Yeah, there's a battery grip. As do most Canon DSLR's. But I'm not sure if it's out yet in Singapore. I think you can order it online if you need it asap though.

And yeah, regarding the buttons. They ARE responsive, just feels a tad mushy. Like its not reassuring whether or not I pressed the button. Everything else is working great though. Upgrading from the xxx series, I definately feel there's a huge difference in the build quality. I think what I love the most so far about the cam is the shutter sound. :p Really solid!

+1. Think my only complaint for 60D is the buttons as well. The delete button is way too far from all the other buttons and hence at times I become lazy to delete the photos.

BTW, the focusing speed with L lens is amazing! :D
