I agree. One year just isn't enough for such a sophisticated machine like a camera. Canon should stand behind their products and offer a 3 year warranty. Of course being a leader they can dictate what they wish to offer. As consumers we have to take what they give us.

It's issues like this that makes me hope that Sony rises up to take a large market share from Canon and Nikon. Competition really puts the manufacturers on the edge. In such a scenario, the consumer always wins.

5D3 has more advance and faster AF tracking..... I have both camera. The 1D4 is now my backup camera to the 5D3.

I agree with bro raydio totally. I took the decisive move to invest in the 5DMK3 and my 5D Classic is my backup now.
It was weighed between an older and newer technology that the 5DMK3 can provide. Anyway frame rates do not bother me
as I am used to single frame shooting back in the film days also.

Though the mk3 can adjust the tracking sensitivity n speed right? Shouldn't be a problem..after i watched the Canon tutorial on adjusting the tracking options n all it should bee fine even with wildlife photography....i also saw the number of oof shots of the 1dmk4 comparing to the 5dmk3 was higher by abit in continuous high speed tracking..
