I think they test with single point is much more accurate than with all the points.. Obviously if 61 af points vs 39 af points, u know who the Winner.. Correct my if I'm wrong![]()

You know you can set the front wheel to change the aperture instead?
yup i just find out. but can we can change shutter speed on the front wheel too if we set aperture on the front wheel?
because in manual mode, i would need to change both aperture or shutter speed fast
Use Av or Tv mode then if you want things fast. Otherwise, set it up before u rotate to take the shot.
Our just use p....

Is your hand that small?
IDK. I never had a problem with Canon's and I think the back dial design is pretty good. I have a slight preference with Canon's design compared to Nikon's cos I find it easier for my thumb to do a "merry-go-round" turn on Canon's back dial compared to the smaller back dial on Nikon's (or even Pentax's, since it's similar design).
Super shallow DOF is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. If it's not desirable, then the need for FF camera should also not be there IMO; APS-C, m43 or even compact cameras will suffice. I have seen many folks who invest heavily in FF gear only to realize they don't really need it.
I actually preferred the Nikon back dial...... but I was already too deep into Canon lens, and I prefer the more modern looking style of the EF & EF-S lens........ so I stick with Canon......

With battery grip- yes a bit awkward when i try it out in tk foto.
Without BG- no issue

Shallow DOF is ok for some scenes, but if overused is quite boring.... and also depending on what you wanna achieve.....
FF at f2.8 is already pretty shallow DOF too.....
My hand is small..even with my 60d sometimes i got a problem with stretching to the dial with my battery.. grip..so sad..my middle finger is like only 7cm or less long..
Actually both is good lah, just that I find the merry-go-round method easier than the Nikon back dial. Reason being when my thumb stretch to Canon's back dial, I just need to make one big movement and I can change the apertures from wide open to very narrow. Where as Nikon's back dial, I have to make multiple small movements to stop down the aperture.
Not a big issue lah.. Just my own preference.
