Actually the CR 6.7 already announce before the 5D3 launch to market..

Adobe Camera Raw 6.7 and DNG Converter 6.7 Available on Adobe Labs « Lightroom Journal

Thank Bro, downloaded this beta version of CR 6.7 and it is working well, now I can see that at ISO12800,the noise level is better than ISO1800 of 60D, lovely smooth picture. It is well balanced and feels better than 60D with the 70 200 F4 IS attached.

congrats to all who got their new miii

any idea for those shops that ran out of stock when the new stock will arrive? days, weeks or months (sweat...)?

tried calling the shops but no one picks up...

BTW is the registration issue still on? yesterday there was report that canon have problem identifying the serial number. I tried, same problem. sian.

Don't know, the shop told me to play with it for seven days, then go to register. If got issue, just change a new one for me

Alan photo told me their next batch will arrive next month....... Sweat......

Just picked up mine from tk. Woo Hoo!! Reserved set though, not walk in.

Congrats. Did you pick up the 300f4 IS USM also? One major weakness of the 5D2 was low ISO shadow banding. Try some ISO 50 shots at -2EV, then during PP, try to lift the shadows and see the result. So far I have only heard about the good things about high ISO but nothing about low end. Cheers.
I don't think low ISO is a problem as I always shoot upto 1 stop lower at low ISO and even on the 60D, most details are recovered. Will have to wait to buy anything expensive for quite sometime. I discovered it is more enjoyable doing reseach and waiting. Hope Canon will announce some lighter super telephoto lens to go with 5D3. Even the new 300 F2.8 II is too short for birding unless it is used with X2 and it is already difficult to carry the entire day without a tripod.

I cut my own screen protector. Just buy those 14" ones for notebook and cut out your own. Some screen like those on the pen series cannot stick so well, but so far canon and sony screens are ok, haven't come off yet.

Congrats to all the bros (n sis?) who've got their 5D3. I'm looking forward to some review from you guys :)

yup.. most shops say next batch is next month, but CP apparently say maybe 1 week. See how.

Very nice ISO12800! I did some test inside the MRT stations, looked very usable also. Tonight will mount it on tripod and so a ISO sample test and report here.

Unfortunately i don't have the photo anymore..we we just playing around with it.
Anyways, i believe "proper" reviews and samples will be out online very soon. Actually there already are many samples online with 100% crop.
Personally for me, most of my photos end up in Facebook so i don't every use 100% crop for my photos anyways. Definitely there will be noise but even at ISO12800 at 1024x768 resolution, it is very useable...you are not going to blow up to an A0 size at that ISO anyways right?

BTW can all those who "quote" my thread please remove my photo?
Haha, it's very scary to see my own face sooo many times on the same page as i'm scrolling...very ugly face leh..

actually i don't 100% trust all the online feedback as it may have been professionally PP.
100% crop is to fine see how is the ISO performance like.
