Honestly I am still rather surprised that Singapore got it so early as compared to the supposed 22nd launch date.

Anyways think I am gonna take a long long while to get used to my first FF coming from crop sensor. Tried to take a few shots with my 16-35 on the 5D3 last night and totally not used to the DOF and perspective...

Yeah, the perspective is like sucking you into the photo like that. And the DOF at f/2.8 is so shallow... haha...

To be honest, I never did consider getting UWA as I was happy with my 17-55 and later on the 70-200 as well. It was only recently that I decided that I want to move onto FF that I added the 1635 to my lens line up after selling off my 1755 to get the 2470.

Actually the kit lens is quite a good deal, only abt $1140 difference. A bit surprised so many prefer not to get the kit set.

Just tried my 1635L on it since my dog was playing ball outside. Photo straight out of cam jpeg and resized using office photo manager (havent had time to install DPP yet).

I have my spare battery charged full.. fully prepared to abuse it once it is in my hand. :bsmilie:

BTW is the registration issue still on? yesterday there was report that canon have problem identifying the serial number. I tried, same problem. sian.
