I downloaded it but when I tried to install it there is an error message saying the update 'is not applicable'. Does the plug-in work on LR4, or CS5 only? If it works on LR4 too, then I must be doing something wrong.

Hmm I didn't download it since I don't really work on RAW files but rather JPEG file in CS5 (I am more familiar in Photoshop), so I didn't download that thing. But according to adobe forums, it should work on LR4 and CS5.

Nope esoeij, you did not do anything wrong. Camera Raw 6.7 Beta only works for 5D3 RAW files in Photoshop CS5. In LR4, it works if you choose the "Edit in Photoshop" function.

So for now... If you shoot RAW, you can either make the minor adjustments in DPP and export JPEG so that you can edit in LR4, or you edit the RAW in CS5.

BTW, LR4 is damn gross. Freezes my i7/SSD rig and spot removal is pathetically unusable! Went back to LR 3.41 instead...

No problem. Af with my sigma 50mm is very accurate both near and far.

I have LR2 and have upgraded it to LR4. i have no problem installing the new DNG converter though. when it prompt to download adobe application manager i did it too.

5DIII is still primary a Digital Camera... and not a video camera....

Please go buy a D800.... and stay at Nikon's forum......... :sticktong
