i think yong nuo flash also can act as optical slave
For me, i normally select centre focus point, focus then recompose.
I read or heard from somewhere that centre focus point is the fastest to get focus. Not sure if it's true.
i got a problem...
When there is a shadow overcast on the face, i set to a point focus and shift that point to focus at the face. This help slightly but will cause the background to have a over-exposed issue. Any solution?
And if i wan to take a photo of a person and the background, if i set the focus point to the face, the background will be OOF. I know this might be the aperture setting. So what aperture setting is recommended for people and scenery photo?
Thank you.
How much u paid for your KIT II?
Where u get it from... me thinking of getting the KitII also.
Fastest because it is the most sensitive of all the focus points for 550D. They call it crossed type focus point. 550D has 9 Autofocus points, centre one is the very sensitive one because it is the only crossed type point, unlike xxD and xD series cameras, all focus points are cross type.
Problem with recomposing is, sometimes the face/subject will go out-of-focus if you've a very shallow depth of field. I manually use all 9 focus points, and with the help of my flash's beam, it focuses faster especially on low light. I only use the centre focus points if I'm shooting action shots, fast moving portraits of my kid. And 9 focus points of 550D also guides me to follow the rule of thirds on composing pictures =)
Can set 9 Af Points de meh? I thought only if we use Auto Af Point?
