Since our fellow 550D User, BlueAcidic is unsure of the venue of the 550D user outing, I'll take the initiative to organize one.

Fellow 550D User Gathering

Date: 26 June 2010, Saturday [I guess most of you guys are free]
Time: 1pm to 6pm
Venue: Cityhall Area, Walkabout


What shall we do ?
- Buildings and Streets..
- Landscape, Singapore Frontline, Marina Bay Sands, Helix Bridge.. etc.. Can be arrange..
- Kopi & Tea Gathering, probably at a huge enough cafe.. chit chat.. share opinions.. etc..

I start a list w/o any maximum number of users to attend.

P.S, I'm still into the DSLR world, and I'm still a newbie into photography.

You got your Sirui T2204X Carbon Fibre tripod for $180? :bigeyes:

but isn't a 10kg load an overkill?

This is just a recommendation.. The Aluminum one cost $180, the Carbon Fibre T2204X cost me a price tag of $370..

I bought my 550 in april and was only given the EOS bag. I did register the warranty on-line, wonder if I could bring my EOS bag to exchange for the crumpler bag:think:

Yes. The stamp on your warranty card is for the 8GB and Canon EOS Bag. Meaning you can't claim them from Canon as HN already claimed them and gave u on the spot.

You will still be able to claim the crumpler bag. My warranty card also have the "Gifts redeemed" stamp and i managed to redeem the crumpler bag. So dun worry...

You certainly made the right choice i would say ! I regretted getting the kit II 18-135 and I've should have gotten the Tamron 17-50 2.8 instead. I think you have done a little homework before buying..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

OMGGGGGGGG i juz saw 3 nikon vests that look dammmm cool!!! http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=710869&highlight=wtsell+vest does canon have any such cool vests? i think vests make photographers look more pro. anyone know where to get/ mass order?
