Still deciding between T-1204 and T-2204, cant really tell the difference less the diff in diameter of the "legs" which is 24mm vs 28mm. Cant really tell what diff will it does.

T2204 has a retractable spike at the bottom of the legs. good in case u shoot on grass..

I did a check with TK foto that time for T-1204 + G10 is ard $330 if i remember correctly
i just realise something, when i am at AF model, taking photo indoor, only got 1 room light (whitelight) it seem to be like when i take my item on a zoom in or close up show my shutter speed is very slow. My aputure is showing about 3-5 only. When i take outdoor things are different... why is that so? Did i switch on to wrong mode....

The diameter of the legs will affect how much weight the tripod can withstand as the bending moment anaylsis takes into account the diameter such that the area moment of inertia is Ixy = PI * dia^4 / 64. Thus larger diameter = higher loads and more stability by the power of 4 which is alot more...
F3.5 and F5.6 is a big difference in allowing the amount of light to pass through. I am assuming u r using 18-55mm or 18-135mm.
yes i am using basic kit 18-55mm got nothing better to do so taking picture in the room to play with my camara... when i take my dog picture while he is sleep it seem to be very slow in shutter when i am in my room. Now i understand the reason why.

I am also considering buying the cheaper aluminmum Alloy Sirui T-1005X/M-2004.
Anyone had advice on the monopad leg?
