Only changed that crappy cheapo-looking strap that came with the camera and added a soft release. Nikon should have included a better original strap at the price they changed for the Df. It's absolutely the worst original strap that I have come across for any camera I owned. Now waiting for Gariz to come out with a half-case for the Df. They said that they are currently working on the design.

I do agreed that the strap given with Df is like recycled materia. I just use back my neoprene strap and added black soft shutter release button to have some contrast with silver top.

I do notice the dials on my Chrome FE2 are black in color. Haven't try to use my Df in bright day light to see how reflective are the dials.

Looks similar to Gariz without metal plate on the bottom. One is made in China and the other is made in Korea. No other difference :bsmilie:

Hi guys, I just got my Df on Thursday (26 Dec), which is a new set from the shop. I did a checked on the shutter count on that day I got it, minus my test shots, the shutter count already 237.
Initially, I thought I got a demo set and went back the shop to check. They confirmed to me it is a new set they just received and not yet even open.

I did google and found dpreview also have people having 200++ count.

If the camera is working fine.... I wont worried about it..... of course if the count is 2000++ or 20,000++ then another story....

The factory do some test before delivering the camera to the shop.
My set also already had 200+ shutter counts when I purchased it from the shop

Same thing goes for a new car..
We can never get 0 mileage cause they will need test drive it..

Hi jeff7id, I only buy from the shops I trusted. I trusted that shop. I also OK with the 200+ shutter counts.
That's why I only go back to the shop to check if they know anything, and not returning my Df.
I posted here just to share some info so that there is no misunderstanding between the seller and buyer

Yesterday bring the Df with 50mm f1.8D for a short walk, liked the Df very much. The weight, the focus and the controls.
