The 3rd party ones cost $100-$120 iirc. Build quality slightly inferior to original. If you are willing to spend a bit more go for original bah

Wa!!! gotta spend 200 on that thingy? + bag I'll have to spend ard 300+ liao. Haiz...might as well throw in a little more to get the 60D and get done with it cos it comes with eos bag lol.

sorry to disappoint you but the same batery in diffrent packaging is selling in ebay at only USD5.79

eventually you'll still need to buy another bag because the free bag is usually too small for your gears.

Is the kit lens good enough or should i just get the body and a external len?

Looking to take picture of close up of family and minor scenery. I understand there is a lens that help to blur out the background, to make human outstanding but i'm not sure what the lens is ?

Is this normal? Or better to send in to CSC?

If money is not an issue then 17-55 f2.8
The cheaper version will be tarmon 17-50 F2.8. But u need to check for front n back focusing issue.
