Any recommendations for screen protector for 600D only advice from bros here not to get the screen guard hard plastic type coz the rotating screen may not close properly after applying... coz too thick..

Looking for value for money screen protectors, see many from Ebay international... ship from china or hk.. any recommnedations from brothers here would be very welcome. Thank you!

Usually shops are happy to help you to fix protector when you buy camera from them

But I never buy camera from them mah... Now camera use b4 still must wipe before pasting, hope slr-r will indeed paste for me. Actually I can DIY..

I had to agree the BBB virus is indeed too hard to handle.

Been getting cleaning kit, lenspen, lens hood, Kata bag, Canon Crumpler Industry strap & a Canon 50mm F1.8 MK II lens ever since I started this interest...*faintz*

How about wiping with those microfibre cloth or "silky cloth"? Does it wipe off the coating?

I think both works. Lenspen is more like a convenience cleaning tool.

Sometimes I see dust spec on my lens, especially those bigger a big one, I dare not use microfibre cloth wipe immediately.
So I either use blower or lens pen first, after no more dust spec den use microfibre to wipe XD

The lenspen is very convenient. It is great for taking off spots that cannot be blown away by a rocket blower. I find that with certain filters, especially the more expensive ones, it is virtually impossible to remove a spot with a cloth due to the coating that is being used. But the lenspen is much more effective with these types of coating.

For me, the microfibre cloth are only used to wipe the body.

For cleaning of lens & filter, I will do the following,

1) blower to remove dust
2) goat hair from lenspen to brush
3) use the carboned portion of lenspen to
clean

Go to Movie mode, then press menu > Movie exposure set to manual > then go back

then adjust the F-stop like what you always do in M mode.

Get an external mic like the Rode shown in the photo posted?

Sold my 450d yesterday and bought the 600D today! Going to buy an OEM battery on ebay - any sellers to recommend or avoid?
