i am thinking of buying a second hand 5Dmk2, any batch serial number to avoid?
what are the things to look for when buying, do not want to end up buying a problem set.
For 7D, they say avoid serial number starting from 02 and 03. How about 5D mk2? thanks.

5D MKII magazine is never a free gift.
Only during promotion/sales period like pc show will have some free gift but the price will be difference
If you want free gift you can buy during COMEX show (Septermber 2-5).

I suggest you call the shop instead of asking in forum. You will get a fast yet correct answer

I've not heard of any batches to avoid either. In any case, if there was a batch to avoid i'm sure a quick google search will throw up lots of results. Unfortunately for Pro series camera no free gifts, not even pwp offers

:bsmilie:yea, that's most often the case. But with for pro series camera, they do not have in-built flash. At least a PWP for a flash wld have sweetened the deal much more!

I suppose from a marketing perspective, a pwp is to entice ppl to bbb more than what they think they require. benefits both parties! :sweatsm:

bought mine in march also. first 2 digit is 17.
