You're probably right. I had a hard time with the colours and WB, due to the mixed lighting. It looks ok on my calibrated monitor, but I'm not sure how it looks on other screens.

Did u use AWB instead?

Am finding that now I use it more than my 7D/550D!

Same here.... I am finding that I am using my 5D more than my 7D. Not sure if it's because of any perceived difference in IQ... in my case the 5D just suits my style of shooting better (landscapes, portraits, etc.)

I think the colors are just fine...It gives you a better night time sense...Sometimes I think we go a bit overboard trying to correct colors, especially at night...let it glow!!!

Is it because of the contact issue, or?

Please advise tho... if not, I need to send down to Canon service center. And, who know when are they open (after CNY)? Today?

Your 24-70mm is having some problem, send it for servicing. You may check out Canon Singapore site for the opening hours of the service centre.

They will need to assess the issue and narrow down to what is causing the problem, so pricing will depend on what has been done to the camera and if or any part/parts have been replaced.

Yes I did - was playing around with the WB setting in LR. I've seen the same photos on an uncalibrated monitor, and they look cooler and less saturated. B&W shots are fine though

Hmmm...I didn't have any issues using AWB in these situations. Perhaps it's the monitor though.

Nope. i check the price only and decide to send mine in to check and they fix it. not too sure if can be purchase at Vivo showroom. might want to call them up to confirm

Go to Canon showroom in Vivo, they should have it there. Call before going down though.

free..cause what they do was just cleaning the connector part lol. else i got to put a piece of paper in between the battery and charger for it to really charge.

Found the problem - I was exporting with the wrong colour space in Lightroom. Now using sRGB :
