Wow envy you guys can have more than 1 body....

For me, my "finance ministry" is already auditing me closely whenever I take out my gear to check on the number on the lens.....if she finds a different number on the lens, it will be another difficult day for me liao.....:bsmilie:

2nd body??? I think keeping the family is more important for me :)

Show your finance minister the kind of pictures you can take with good gear, and tell her this: Money we can always make more, but memories that could be captured beautifully, once gone, cannot be recaptured even if, later in life, we have all the money in the world.

Haha, that's why now every weekend, I will ask her to be my model :bsmilie:

Snoweagle, excellent photos that clearly show what the 5D can do in good hands. Let me guess, first one with your 70-200f4 and second must be with your 50L wide open.

Haha very smart! U're right and both pics are not post-processed except for adding of border.

I am actually quite serious when I say that. It is true that camera gear is not cheap, but compared to how much people spend on cars, holidays, renovating their house, etc., it is not that much. Plus, with good care, you should easily get 10 to 15 years out of them. Worse of course are holidays, all that $$$ gone in a few days, except of course, for the memory of the trip with the gorgeous pictures you took :bsmilie:

I agree, but need to take things slowly, because women are..................well, WOMEN :bsmilie:

I believe I can convert her. My young daughter is starting to get converted already

My England is only so so nia, so I don't know what word to use.....think that should sum up what I feel.

Haha u're very powderful! Ok back to our beloved 5D discussion. :)

How is it that after I switched, then all the fun on this "Grand Old Lady" begins? I agree with neech7, my 5D was really handsome, not a single wrinkle or spot, inside out, and the SC was so low after 4 years. With care, the guy who took over should be able to use it for another 4 years at least. Anyway, old man also like young things, and when I get sick of my K5 I will be back.

I Love my 5D mk1, have 2 sets.
