At the moment, any information is shared between parties in private. Surely this is better than having a blackmark stuck on your nickname. Again...this is for the sole benefit of future chaotic sales being kept to a minimum.
I tend to provide my buyers with references from past dealings with other buyers. I can tell you with 100% confidence right now that i've only screwed up once, and that was when i missed an appointment with a seller, and i apologized profusely. He hates my guts for that, but we completed the deal at another time. Didn't explain myself to him because whatever the case was, the fact is i missed the first appointment. Period.
So at the end of the day, stay clean and nobody's got anything to fear. Want to sabo? No sweat. I can easily provide overwhelming positive responses to counter that. I'm sure the same goes for many others in CS. :thumbsup:

Hi coolzzz, if u are whom i think u are then im really very disappointed with ur actions and reactions here. Both u and the buyer are very very coincidentally registered in March 2004. That buyer told me when i met him, that he had jus joined the forum. Thats why i dont understand wat connections u have with him, that u would have to side him so fervently right from the start. If u want us to think , well , we did, and most of the readers should have realise who u are by now. dtaytc and coolzzz, both registered in march 2004. dtaytc registered jus find an IR filter which i sold him (HOYA RM90). I even taught him all about the filter. His one simple sentence of "That filter could have been a fake" was all his reasons for refusal to pay the remaining $20 which i let him owe me due to my soft heartedness. Asked him to return me the filter to get full refund, he also refuse, wat crap!!!! How in the world am i suppose to sell him a fake Hoya IR filter?? Sell him a black glass? I even wrote an article to teach him how to differentiate it. I guess i already have done my best to help hime liao and this is wat i get in return. I should have jus walked off and ignore that guy since day 1. Sms him, no reply, call him, kup my phone. Or he jus simply say that his hp spoilt, cannot call or reply phone calls. Wat Crap!! As for coolzzz, his registration in clubsnap was jus to defend dtaytc in this thread ?!! Think :dunno: :nono:

This is in return to helping him answer his query since he claims he is a complete newbie and dont feel secure with the IR filter and the $100 he has parted with. He always try to reply politely in the forum, u should see how he reply me with his sms, ur blood sure boil like siao man.
I did not reveal the buyer's nick and contact number previously cos i still did not wanna go too far. But his actions were really too much. First of all a person's integrity like wat most bros have stressed time and time again here, is of utmost importance. Its ur character and it says alot about u and how u will treat ppl in future. It doesnt matter if u are rich or poor, integrity is something that one should have. If $20 is a small sum in ur opinion, why did the buyer wanna short change me and then refuse to pay. U claimed that, i cheated, or something is fishy with the deal, well i think u should go find out from any or all the forumers who have dealed with me in the past. They can vouch for my integrity and also how fast we deal with no problems either with the items or monetary. Never did last minute haggling like dtaytc too. If that buyer(dtaytc) have had problems dealing with me, i guess he really must have been a very jialat person since im really a very easy person. Most ppl transact smoothly with me all the time.
$20 is a sum that i could have jus simply donated to charity and feel good about it. But the fact that it had been wrestled out of my wallet through deception and preying on my sympathy is something that i cannot tolerate. I guess nobody could have too. I think by telling us that we shouldnt be petty or angry over this issue is indeed making the fingers point back at u for fishy business.
If someone is poor and have said that right from the start, and price was not agreed upon, he should not have even bought that thing since its out of his budget. For dtaytc's case, he went ahead to agree with the price knowing its beyond his budget and when i asked him, he said that he did it to trick me down to meet him. Claim him to have the audacity to say that. Really damn DL. After all the rubbish, he jus simply vanish and refuse to pay back, giving 1001 reasons including asking me to source for a cheap and good conditioned dry cabinet in exchange for returning me my money. Asked him to return me my money before getting the dry cabi cos that should be the right thing to do , he said "Sorry i need the money to buy the dry cabinet first, u help me find a good and cheap one lah, i return ur money after that". So am i suppose to wait and help him indefinitely if he decides to plan on and on for other purchases. If u cannot afford it in the first place, dont buy. Try and see if u can pull of this stunt In CP, AP ,MS and etc anot, sure ask u go home fly kite.
On the day of the transaction i even told him that he shouldnt have dealed this way and i advised him not to do it again in future cos most CS member would not have bothered with him unlike me. Now i know it really doesnt pay to be kind to others. Especially to ppl like that scum !!! :angry:

dtaytc is called David. Suppose to be in his final year in Mechanical Engineering in NTU. Wears a silver frame glassed with long hair thats unkempt. Have got thick lips and his teeth a bit protruding. He also says that he is staying in NTU hostel now. Currently using a Sony 707 which he might also wanna sell off cos i told him that he bought at too high a price. Let me know if u want his hp number too. I will post it out if u guys want it.
As for coolzzz, u might be David or jus coolzzz, i dunno. Jus let the other forumers guess. But i think they wouldnt have too much of a problem doing that too. As for me, i will give u the benefit of the doubt.I will try to believe u are simply a very very kind hearted person who will not be angry if ur transaction goes this way. Pls remember to let me know if u are selling anything in future, im sure u wont be angry if i vanish with ur item and still owe u a couple of tens or hundreds of dollars. U are jus so nice :devil:

Heheh, dont worry lah bro, of cos we know lah. We wont let one bad sheep spoil the reputation of all the others one lah. I usually dont do sweeping statements or treat others differently unless they prove themselves otherwise that i should do that to them.

Next time if u happen to buy something from some bad guy, think u have to open ur eyes... if anything goes abit wrong, then ur reputation is gone... just like that poor guys... haha.. so i definitely dun believe this man.... That's nothing i can say... since that alloy think i maybe him, and all my suggestion is wasted... he just wanna make himself happy by throw all those harmful words... i believe all other buyer will be disappointed too...

Watever it is the fact is that u owed me the money and thats a fact. Asked u to return u claimed u forgot, then u said u wanna buy dry cabi. Now u wanna innocent. $20 is not a big sum no doubt but some ppl actually drag on and on to pay. I think 1 week+ is more than enuff time for u to cough out $20 to pay me.
