NX1 is coming

A little bird just told me that in a couple of weeks time there would be a Premium Value Pack

NX1 Premium Value Pack
RRP of $3,799

NX1 body (RRP $1999)
with 16-50mm Premium S Lens, (RRP $1749)
Vertical Grip,
Extra battery kit (including external battery charger)

A big eagle just pecked me on the head and I discovered that the Malaysians are getting a better deal than us ......

RM8699 for body, 16-50 S Lens, battery grip, flash and external battery charger..... that's only S$3392 based on today's exchange rate

the little bird from Singapore might have the same commission as the big Malaysian eagle but in S$ instead of RM
lol eventually the Eagle might be happier than the little bird

That little bird has an eagle's appetite ....:bsmilie:

Went down to Sitex today to check out the NX1 only to find that I can only see the box. No news of the Kit with the 16-50 either.

Hopefully the NX1 Premium Value Pack will come through...

have anyone tested the af with the 85mm? does the caf tracking works well with walking subject at f1.4?

hopefully the lenses will be available after Sitex

Went down Sitex yesterday and the promoter allowed me to play with it leh. Though it might not be of use for me, as Im a beginner. Lol

.... a lukewarm reception from TCS for Samsung NX1 .................. :o.

They say the at with the 85mm is bad.... That is a deal breaker for me

you seem to have the 85mm? can comment on the CAF of NX1 with the 85mm? If I want to track a kid with the NX1, is it doable?

It was the 50-150mm

The 85mm was meant to be a portrait lens so in some ways the subject don't move that much.

If you want tracking then the best lens for the job would be the S lens.

Some toy fun
