[Numnumball] This is for u, dear, my wife, my

Sweet n simple n nice bokeh.. Got chance go helix bridge shoot.. Is beautiful there but go early morning :D

Thanks for ur comments and recommendation bro!! Would love to join ur shoot oneday:)

Wow bro, expanding your portfolio :D

Nice bokeh & sharp.. think you need to crop it a bit more to make the sweet lady stand out ;)

But don't use your 200mm macro to shoot hor :bsmilie:

Just my few cents, wrong don't shoot me

NP at all bro, all of ur guys comments meant a lot to me, tats will push up my learning curve. hee... Noted on the cropping! (I never crop any of these pics )

I using 135 Dc f/2 lar, i will ever use macro lens to use becos of the color constrast and the unflattering sharpness it gives.. hee...

nice shots bryan!

am sure your wife will love them!

nice bokeh, but i would probably turn the aperture a bit higher to allow more background to be visible, otherwise will waste the location, unless it is too noisy and distracts the focus.

cheers,
Barry

Thanks for ur valuable comments Barry!!! Well Noted.. will drop down further to allow more visibility of bg areas..

Got so much more to learn from u bro!! :)

Uploading next set taken after the 1st shortly, next set is at a outdoor location near the parliament, taken with a SB900 fired off an Exybox (softbox) on a heavy duty lightstand :)

Pls feel free to flame me if there's anything wrong i took or pp with the pics and give true, frank opinions and comments so tt i can improve further.

Very nice bokeh! You using the 85mm? :) My only feedback - all the background pics look almost similar to me... the background is so blurred that no one can tell if you take them at parliament/high court or at botanic gardens.

edit: try different poses or use the surrounding to pose your subject

Tks alot for your valuable comemnts!
I am using 135 DC actually. :)

Noted on your advice : -

1. Will drop down my aperture more (mostly shot at f2 to 2.8 for all of the above) to bring in more on clarity of the bg.

2. Wil aim to try different poses and make the surroundings work for my subjects

Thanks again!!! :D

I liked that this series is a dedication.
Dress and makeup coordinates well. My guess is she picked the dress and it's her fav dress? shrugs :D

She does has has amazing eyes and an engaging smile but I realised that most of the photos are of a similiar expression and more of a frontal shot. Perhaps u could try to capture different expressions or look for other angles to shoot from. Exposure & sharpness looks good.

3 observations:
#10
I think the handbang she's carrying is sorta distracting + add on to the shape of her figure.

#15
The cropping on hands looks weird

#18
The poisng of her left hand looks unnatural. Looks like she's making a C sign.

Bryan...

very nice, nice album...

:kok: Thanks for poisoning me! LOL Great creamy bokeh!!!

Bro, Its not in my intentions but BBB!! lolz..:devil:

When outdoor, I' m loving this lens so much more over my 85 nw..

Sorry for noob question, but what is 135mm DC?

very sweet series. i believe your wife will love you more

for the comments, the color is off(WB)
you should also asked her to posed differently(just for a variety) because it seems all are the same due to her facial expression;)
no pun intended Mr .Numnumball:angel:
