why did you caged your wife? :o :bsmilie:

on your set 3, i choose pics 20 simple sweet picture(the one with the camera with her)
but on the other pics in this set, hands, elbow & feet were cutted/chopped....do take note next time shooting her....;)

Sure thing, at that time still didnt know this much abt portraiture wanted to post this set up here and let ppl flame so i will know whats wrong and can avoid similar mistakes gg forward.. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Much appreciated.

Oh really~?!?! Did i saw u tt day? :)

or is the pic taken when I saw u shooting ION?

No offense, but frankly I feel that the first few shots were just bokeh and not much else..

I don't think she minds that.

It's a golden cage that any gal would have died for. :bsmilie:

Thanks Uncle Sion for dropping by!

trust me she won't .. .. .. .. :p She will prefer a Miumiu or Gucci bag with gold plated label instead.. :bsmilie:

Joke aside, Nt at all! We are all here to learn! Thks for ur comments.. Will improve.. :)

Nice series... Bro, can tell the love you had for your wife... :)

nice shoots, i'm still worry about the DC lens on FX body for the CAs issue,
but looks like not must issue just a minor only..

Congraturation to enjoy your 135 DC lens.. hehe

almost cream bokeh.. it's can be more bokeh to compared as 85 F1.4D wow..

bokeh until can't see clealy for background.

Thanks Bro, we can go shoot XMM together next time..

She wasn't so happy before this shoot, now i think she will stop the nagging liao.. hee

Yea sure. I realised that I've tried my lens on XMM only once before so I'll be joining a shoot this Saturday. :bsmilie:

But is it okay with your 老婆大人 if you aim your lens at XMM instead of her?

very well captured of your wife numnumball. great photos!

Pictures are decent... but I'll give one more strategy to maximize the poisonous power of the 135 f2 DC (or 135 f2L for canon people, its another superb lens for lower price btw!).

Instead of concentrating on simple head shots, try full body and half body shots and blend with corridors/colourful backdrops/architecture.

The magic of the 135 f2 DC is the ability to "cut" and isolate an entire person (even if the subject is only 1/2 or lesser of the frame) out of most backgrounds, but yet the background remains mysteriously unclear but somewhat certain at the same time.
