Northeast Shooters' Outing - Pulau Ubin

Morning everyone,

Before I start posting the photos I took, I really wanna thank Eugene for lending me his D700 else I would not have been able to take photos. Yep, and a word of warning to those eyeing the Olympus E420, its slim, its decent, but it doesn't tell you how much life you have in the battery! So do buy a spare batt else you'll end up like me..........discovering your camera batt is flat when the boat is about to reach Pulau Ubin? :bsmilie:

Btw, rather than email the group photos (cos they're all 4MB in size?) how about I share them via Flickr? Or would you all rather I email you the original JPEG's?

Else, how about arranging a post-gathering meetup to exchange and share all our photos? ;p

I think it wld be great if we all can meet again, over teh tarik...Prata...hahahahaha...Flickr is good as well.

Jalan Kayu is near my workplace, but think its pretty far for everyone else? hehehe

But yeah, maybe meet for prata or kopi this weekend for whoever is interested? Or maybe meet at a cafe someplace central, like Pacific Coffee at Vivocity. The seats on the outside have a very good view of Sentosa.

Not really... it is just normal prata. I almost there every week.

Now the shops is bigger and more sitting area. More exp. Can be meeting place.

If we are meeting there. I suggest we can go to the Seletar Dam for a morning shot and later proceed to Bottle tree park. If most of you are driving...should not be a problem.

I'll probably take a while longer to create my Facebook cos I'm busy with training this month and next. Also cos I'm considering changing my email from YahooMail to GMail. But don't worry cos I'll give my email addresses and full name so everyone who wants to add me can find me easily.
