lol! Locally I've shot our local men in blue arresting suspects at Holland Village but they didnt do anything to me as there was a huge crowd watching & also, a couple of weeks before that, SPH's photojournalist got handcuffed while shooting the flood!

Haha! even then i don't dare to take any photograph.. I'm scared they will handcuff me after they finish with the suspect..

Took this with a Ricoh GRDIII, not the latest & greatest compact P&S but it does its job well

I'm Physically / Mentally Challenged...

I took this picture to show that we have people around us like that in our daily lives.

We should lend a helping hand whenever we can & not turn a blind eye to those who are physically & mentally challenged.

Hanoi, Winter Of 2010.
Leica M2, Canon 35mm F2 LTM, Kodak Tri-X 400

Whenever I see a B&W photo I find it very very difficult to associate it with the word 'noob'.

Maybe it's just me. :bsmilie:

Omg. This is a meaningful shot and yet so well taken without loss of meaning! U managed to capture his expression. Kudos to u for trying to bring awareness to us with your photography.

Thanks. My friends were like all shaking their head in disapproval when I took this shot.

The young boy or girl, I'm not too sure, is just mentally challenged & physically disabled. Sitting on the wheel chair with a whole lot of drool just flowing uncontrollably.

I guess it depends on your intentions. You probably can't really ask them if they wish to be photographed so its a little tricky. However, i admire your stated intention, so that's fine for me imho.

Very late night at Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake with plenty of lovers hanky panky-ing around but I choose my subject to be a sleeping old lady.

She was sleeping so soundly, I went up really close! heehee
