Welcome to CS! and thanks for making me jealous, starting with a 7D is more than adequate!

anyway, shoot more, post more, learn more!:)

thanks again guys..

:nono:i'm eating bread and maggi everyday just so i could finance this baby.
if possible, i always prefer to invest in something of better quality for long term rather than upgrade later on. and i try to avoid the BBB virus after that. else eat grass also not enough
:bsmilie:

I hate to break it to you, but users of every model from pro to entry level suffer about the same rate of BBB and upgrade. ;)

I haven't had lunch, and you are tempting me with M&M's? Oh man ...

sponky, what is important is to maximize the full use of your camera since you are already eating maggi mee and bread everyday.

Hope to see you turn up at the outings with a fully dented and 'paint peeling' body and lens. Hehehe!

Cheers!

i do have a friend with a 5dm2 and another with a nikon d300 but we are on completely different level, skill wise and financially speaking.

i'm contented with my 7D. at least till i have fully explored all the features/functions and am able to produce some decent photos that i can proudly show to others. :D
but then again, if i strike some gold mine, i'll be singing a different tune :p

yeah..i intend to turn up for outings but i rather them still be in pristine condition.

yeah..am still experimenting on how to make full use of my current gear to get the best out of it, without succumbing to the BBB. i hope to have a certain level of proficiency before i BBB :P

Welcome to CS :)
Before you are hit by the BBB virus, do read up the manual & some other books on photography. No point buying all the best gears but dun know how to use them correctly ;)
