Bring ultrazoom prosumers. Not DSLR what, focal length over 200mm also. Up til almost 500mm also have.

got iso limitations, got maximum aperture limitations

they won't worry about your images

got nice clean sharp ones from their photographers versus your noisy, grainy ones.. no contest leh :nono:

then it wun be sharp then... once pns cam goes in digital zoom..pics wun be as sharp..its the optical zoom that matters...

Yup... i'm talking about optical zooms. ;)

Oly SP500, 380mm
SO550, 506mm

Samsung Pro815, 20mm

wah..they really gonna check ah? a 2x tc will be good on a 200mm prime lens...i believe they worry that ppl will bring big lenses that can obstruct other ppl views..if its only the size..i wonder can bring in 500mm reflex lens..its small though
Gaffer ur 500mm reflex..they don' t know..lol

BUY PANASONIC FZ18, 18x zoom, can take video some more

well, is equiv angle of view but not the actual focal length... actual should be somewhere ard 70mm only, so basically it still sit nicely under the <= 200mm rules...

soon a casio P&S can shoot 60fps @ 6MP. Sure can get something in that 1 or 2 secs. ;p

"9. Is photo taking allowed inside or during the race?

Ever since the H7 and H9 bro... Long time already...

Anyway, what do they mean by 200mm? After 1.6 crop sensor or as indicated in the lens?

Woo, that's not too bad. 200mm on a 1.6x crop sensor camera would be 320mm. But, I am not very happy with the tripod rule. No tripod, monopod (with 3 legs) lor!

With a olympus dSLR and a 200mm lens, it would be 400mm!

If this is not a typo, cannot use any lens less than 200mm leh.
