Sydney, Australia

Missed the boat back from Manly beach so had to find somewhere nearby to shoot and the bridge offered a view of the Harbour Bridge, as well as a part of the highway beside CBD.

Circular Quay, Sydney

Missed an earlier boat, so I couldn't get to anywhere else for sunset. As such is the problem with the sunsets there, as it happens so early.

*Re-uploaded with a different size. Previous version seems to be resized and looked softer as a result.*

Another single shot, no blending done, with the use of LEE1.2 soft GND filter (4 stops), in fact this was edited from out of camera JPEG and not RAW. This is because I tweaked the camera settings, including white balance and tint, to get a desirable outcome out of camera and only needed some minor adjustments in PP.

Another attempt at the same spot. Still prefer the blue hour view.

Another break from Sydney photos. Taken just before my trip, and as mentioned previously, met Silverpine here. I had a couple of versions of this spot before: Maximum Capacity and Tranquil. I do still prefer Tranquil though.

The sky this morning after a less-than-satisfactory sunrise. Did a 5-shots panorama with the use of Haida 10 stops ND filter.

I was up here quite sometime ago. Was wondering how the lights would be at dusk. Yours has indeed convinced me to come back here again. Nice shot.

This is the first time I send in an entry for the International Photography Award. This photo was titled "Serene" and it received an honourable mention in the Architecture: Cityscapes Non-Pro category. "Serene" was actually shot last year around May and i was shooting actively for barely a year. It has some special meaning to me and as a result, I was encouraged by my better half to send this in for IPA 2014, despite not being one of the photos which i am satisfied with. So here's to share this photo, which featured in my previous land/cityscape thread Beauty of Our (Lion) City.
