Single shot using Haida 10 stops ND + LEE GND0.9 soft

The sky was still meh at sunrise, but had a feeling the post-dawn might have a good blue sky. Lucky to have some fast clouds! Although there had been monochrome versions of this scene done, i had still originally intended for a coloured shot. In the end, the motion of the cloud tempted me to do a monochrome version instead.

I like the monochrome version. I have a feeling that the colored version would be worth posting as well. Thanks for sharing.

Saw the 4pm sky (sunset just before 5) being rather gloomy, so i decided to shoot something cliche and don't quite want to spend an epic sunset (if any) shooting. Shot this with the 30mm dn art. Quite an award perspective given what i brought along. Not a decent composition anyway. Minimal processing here, with even the WB set in camera.

This is a 3 shot panorama on the Sigma 30mm DN Art. Too tired to stitch in the bridge, far more easier to limit it to the CBD skyline.

The epic sunset on Monday at Bukit Ho Swee. Let it burn!

Natural GND filter, this haze. Shot on Friday when the haze was at its worst. Thankfully, the recent rain has washed away the blur. The look of the CBD buildings somehow reminds me of my impression of NYC. Haha dunno why.

Single shot and used a longer exposure instead of a stacking shorter exposures. The subdued look of the background was kept as it is to contrast with other similar works, so by not stacking the exposures, the less distinct the trails would feel and therefore going better with the subdued background.

I like the subdued background! quite different from your usual works :)

Taken on Sony A7R+Canon TS-E 17mm.

Inspired by Darren Soh with his use of the lens on the A7R. This is the first shot taken on the A7R with this lens (although I have used this lens on the native Canon body), but it certainly won't be the last. Anyway, I didn't have to shift so not a test of this set up.
