I'll just have to find chance to redo the scene and wait for the opportunity when the flow is more of less even. The flow of traffic road on the right is usually quite stagnant and the left is more mobile. It does pose quite a challenge to gauge how much would be necessary for a balanced light trail on both sides. Wish I have more time and energy. lol.

haha, isn't the challenge of getting the right shot, that's keeping us going in this hobby? haha. :)

A shot to celebrate moving in into my new home. This is a view from a neighbouring block.

Single exposure in the day.

Panoramic sunrise of MBS. Single exposure, no PP other than the stitching. Wanted to do a pano all the way to Raffles City and the bridge beside the Esplanade. It is a mystery why I forgot to catch the scene required to do that pano I had in mind. Anyway, just share what I have.

I had thought of doing this for quite some time. Finally managed to do it, and I got stopped and asked to move aside!

I still got the shot I wanted.

Woke up early today to catch the sunrise. Wanted to do a sunrise shoot with the image as a birthday present for myself. I was quite taken aback at the beauty of the sunrise. All along, I have been tied down with work such that I did not managed to do much shoots and if i do, it is mainly sunset (as I start work at 7am on weekdays, and on weekends I surrender myself to my bed). I heard of people preferring sunrise to sunset. Today, I finally understood why.

Three exposure manually blended in Photoshop to expose for the sky, buildings and water. No filters used. No pp done on the three exposures used for the blending. Only pp was the blending of the three exposures.

Side note: I saw two guys with camera also shooting Marina Bay at the Merlion Park during this morning sunrise, one of them wearing a safari kind of hat. Wonder if it is fellow CSer?

Hmmmm......I should be one of them. with 2 tripods?

bro..

may I ask what is the setting you used to take this shot?

Hi Edwin, may I know which shot are you referring to? Is it #27?

I shot it on 17-40 at 17mm and f/16 for 75sec at 7:53pm. Was doing a couple of other shots that evening, so this was pushed till the last, that is why it is so late (would have preferred it at around 7:25 to 7:40pm).

My apologies for not station which photo.. I was referring to #12 .. I am amazed with the "mirror" effect.. very nice :)
