Yes, AF-C mode available when using the AFS 300mm F/4

Bro, is the AF-C function compatible with AF-D lenses as well? Only AF-S lenses are mentioned.

I have tested with AF-D lenses, not compatible, you will not get AF-C option in the menu.

Thanks, V-series still very lacking in flash solution, ok for casual macro n portrait shots but there are better options.

You've inspired me to do the same: got me a V1 with FT-1, AFS 300mm f4D and TC14EII for an incredible 810mm and 1100mm and so far happy with results!

Sad but Nikon hinting that they will kill the Nikon 1 as they blame it for dragging down sales.

Don't think they will kill it entirely, but perhaps they will fix the only flaw with it.. Which is the lack of an APS-C or full frame sensor.
