lol espn makes comics fast. self humilation? anyway i know nikon would be posting the big group pic in the FOCUS june or july edition,but i am afraid they aregoing to post it VERY small. Can have a look at Focus Issue No.8, that is July last year. the gropus pic is like so small. whats the use then lol. hopefully nikon prints a bigger 2 paged just for that group photo. if not cant see our faces. like ants :sweat:

i suggest crop the pic into panaroma type, so we wont be ants anymore haha

if want to see everyone face base on the distance they took the shots at lease must print A2 size :sweat:

Think the purpose is to just showcase how fierce yellow colour is and not really on whose face is there ;p

COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each photographer can submit a maximum of 3 photographs for each competition.

2. The images MUST be shot on either the Nikon Coolpix or SLR cameras.
3. Participants should not submit the same entry for both competitions.
4. One CD-ROM should contain images submitted by a single photographer only for EACH competition. If you are submitting for both competitions, you are required to submit one separate CD-ROM for each competition with the CD-Rom properly labeled with:
- Competition Title
- Registration Pass Number
- Full Name
- NRIC / Passport Number
- Contact Number
5. The images should be named in the following format: a. Fullname_Title (ie: TanBengBeng_RunningForVictory)
6. CD-ROMs submitted are non-returnable. The CDs must be delivered to:
“NP Big Walk Nikon Shootout” or “Shoot the Nikonian” Competition

7. The submission deadline is 6th June 2006.
8. The images can be in Colour or Black & White.
9. Images are to be in digital format and submitted on CD-ROM. For film users, they shall ensure that a good scanning is done for their works.
Resolution should be of a minimum size of 2000 pixels on the long side, JPEG format with minimal or no compression.
10. The organizers will not be providing any scanning services.
11. Images which are digitally enhanced or manipulated are allowed as long as it does not distort the reality of the image. Winning entries will require the original images files with intact EXIF or the negatives/slides to be submitted as well. Each photographer is eligible to win only one prize per competition.
12. Images submitted for this project must be the original work of the participants and they own the sole rights of the pictures.
13. The organizers reserve the right to reproduce the images or use it for publication, publicity and exhibition purposes, without payment of any fees to the author. However, selected images used will be duly acknowledged in the book.
14. The images shall be selected by an independent panel of judges and their decision is final. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process will be entertained. Photographers whose works are selected will be informed accordingly.
15. Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, relevance to the theme and photographic techniques.
16. While the organizers exercise due care to the images during collection, selection & storage, the organizers shall not be held liable should there be any loss, theft or destruction of the images.
17. Results will be announced on Nikon Singapore website www.nikon.com.sg/bigwalk on 27th June 2006. Prizes not collected by the stipulated time will be forfeited.

does it mean that we cant submit printed forms? i feel that submitting printed types are better and safer because sometimes u cant trust cd roms. ur able to view the pics in your com but when other coms open it, there would be nothing in it

Last year I submitted full res. This year if I do submit I'll do the same, then they don't need to ask me for original pic (if I ever win :bsmilie: )

The lens is the 70-200 VR with a Teleconverter, maybe TC-20E II/20E.
