Don't bother to get lens from them.
Ask them about the 24-70mm f/2.8
That guy punched the calculator and showed me $2890, cash terms.
Think I born yesterday:thumbsd:
Wonder why they bother to spend so much to set up a stall to sell at prices which are much higher than outside???

Though u were not born yesterday , I think many others are! :bsmilie:
Many of my friends do not believe me when I tell them street price can be 10-30% cheaper than all these RRP. They go for IT show because they think other times same price but no freebies. :dunno:
Also, I think some people cannot afford to pay full cash, so they go IT show, Courts, etc, so that they can pay by installments. :nono:

Better go to Mustafa (fixed price- no headache with bargains) to buy and anything above 500 dollers, can pay in installment scheme. No approval, on the spot at the cashier.
But the 1688 is with 18-55 VR lens. Is outside shop also selling seling 1680 with 18-55vr or 18-105vr. Looking to get one too when I collect my bonus. Thanks.
S$2890, i thought tht was supposed to be the street price after the price increase?
i asked CP abt the 70-200 2 weeks ago and it was 3.2k!
It all depends on whether you need those freebies. And if the freebies suit you. A free tripod might be too low for you etc.
Bear in mind that the prices of typical freebies, such as memory cards, batteries, tripods, and some umbrella, tend to drop very quickly over a short period of time. So the total value of freebies can be lower than what you expect.
I would suggest buyers to head to a reputable shop and get cash savings on the equipment itself. Rather than getting more freebies at RRP.
The D90 kit at 1688 seems like a strategy to clear stock of 18-55VR.
I have to agree that some salespersons at the booth are not friendly.
