Asking for OME battery @$28 or Nikon @80, Tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6 D similar to Nikon AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED @$290 then don't want to buy now as don't know whether it's a good deal or not and just new to DSLR world.

Why not just use the kit lens first? Is the 70-300 really necessary now?

From wat i know he sells D70 + kit with 1 GB CF at ard 1600 SGD .... i was surpise to see that price too.

Bought one for myself in March for $175 at Lords. Last 6pc at that time when I bought mine. Most likely you've to place order at MS or Lords. Heard that shops receive not more that 5-10 pcs per order, that's why always run out of stock.

already a good buy liao loh. And comparing to those who bought it say a yr back ... it's a steal! So rather then waiting for D50 to come out or whatever ... is D70 really what u want and are you ready to get it. If yes why wait? From now till the time D50 comes out, you may have already taken so many great shots liao! Perharps even award winning ones!!!! :thumbsup:
