for my case, I bought the D70 cuz I think Nikon will be stopping D70 production. Next time want to buy also dun have
dunno what the price of the D70s will be..

Oh is it? like that one ah for cameras, dunno leh very newbie hehe,
i'm going alaska in june wonder is anyone knows if i would be able to capture some northern lights scene. or rather how to go about taking such scene.

Honestly, now shd wait and see if you want to get D70. If the price for D70s is not much higher, get it instead. Also, when D70s is launched, likelihood is D70 price will drop further. In fact i thinking of selling my D70 body now!

The further away a observer is from the magnetic north pole, the less chance he/she will have of seeing the northern lights.

X Cross fingers hope to see some though daylight is short.
most of all take lots of nice pictures.

I used to have this camera, but sold it. It is made in Japan and delivers good images for a P&S. You can try those second hand shops in Peninsula. May get lucky and find something?

I think AP might be slightly cheaper.

No need to go so far, KL can get a cheaper price already. Most of the len and flash it can get it cheaper than singapore.
