The Nikon light grey lenses came not only in wide aperture zooms, but were more expensive than the black ones. At that time, I don't think anyone would have considered the AF-S 300mm 2.8, 400mm 2.8 and 500mm F4 as "cheapo zooms".

I don't mean the grey lenses, no they are not cheapo zooms. But "real silver lenses", something like these, which I am sure Jeff will appreciate?
Since the Df does not have an built-in flash which can act in commander mode, you would probably need a SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander Unit to wirelessly control your SB-700. Otherwise get one of the third party systems like PocketWizard or Phottix Odin for wireless flash.Hi seniors, I jus bought a DF. A few questions which need yr advice:
Wireless remote:
WR-R10 + WR-T10
Is the wirless remote option for DF
And how does the remote trigger flash setup need?
I bought a SB700, and wanted to try remote flash, what will be the setup needed?
Thanks a lot. Jus move from 5000 to DF so a bit confused.
Recycling an older post, since jeff asked about silver lens on silver Df:
OK, here's one taken with the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm...Ehmm I mean picture of a cat while he/she is eating. Not picture of a cat being eaten

Many of my cats like chicken. So I would regularly buy an entire honey-baked roast chicken from Cold Storage and debone and skin it for them as a treat.
What a healthy meal she has !
