Many Thanks....Gotten my 750 on Friday...still exploring its features...so far so good....

@MarkersNg, thanks for the tip on the screen protector. Been looking for one as well.

Any bro experience battery drain. I mean quite serious. My first time use the d750 experience it. From full to 30% without using. Just place in bag with power on for few hours. Its hot when i take it out. I suspect its the wifi that i am exploring

Aiyah u put in bag with power on, the shutter could be half pressed for the whole duration or any of the button could be pressed such that the lcd screen turns on. Wifi is turn off by default unless u turn it on then put inside bag. Just always turn off power when putting it into the bag lah, the startup time only 1-2s only.

Specs wise it definitely seems to be fast enough. Moreover it is really cheap compared to SanDisk Extreme Pro.

They are on sale today at Amazon.. bought one for 27.99 USD...

USD now so strong.... How to buy RRS L-Plate :(

What percentage increase (against your OK exchange rate) are you talking about here? and what is absolute SGD increase?

Lightroom 5.7 and ACR 8.7 are out with support for D750.

How to get CS5 camera raw and LR4.4 support, the url provided is the earlier threads were rerouted in Adobe and not showing where to download the beta raw updates.

Edit:
Seems the "only way" (that I have managed to find out) to get into LR4.4 for now is to download from Adobe this URL and convert my photos to DNG

Been playing around with new purchase since yesterday, I tried to select a fixed AF point I cannot seem to find menu to make this selection, how can I fixed the focus point to a fixed AF? I prefer not to have the camera to make this selection but I control it myself.

Help is appreciated.

Edit:
Found the answer, toggle between AF-S and AF-C modes by holding down AF button and turning the rear control wheel. In this Group Area AF mode it lets you assign 5 AF points that can be moved across the 51-points array.

I bought the film type protector (from Black Mkt) meant for the D7100 for $10 and it fits perfectly.

One possibility is that buttons were being pressed in the bag, keeping the LCD on.

You can also try tweaking your c2 (standby timer) and c4 (monitor off delay) settings. That said, if buttons are being pressed, it will still 'wake' the camera and keep the LCD on.

Some comments I have for this camera's af. It is amazing in dark areas. Before I made the plunge, I was skeptical with its paper specs. I brought it out for a photo shoot last weekend, and was truly impressed.

Basically I did a photo shoot from evening till night, armed with a off camera flash and wireless trigger. The af illuminator was switched off, and when night fell, I only had a silhouette of my target. From the view finder, it was impossible to find her eyes, and hence, I af based on where I think her eyes are, and fired away. I was truly amazed at how sharp the images are after reviewing it on a computer. Though it took longer to focus on her eyes (twice the time as compared to a well lit area), the results were just comforting. Just sharing my experience on this camera with all.

Is anyone ordering L-Plate? Markins, RRS or Kirk?

Markins D750 not yet available but their D810 weighs only 70g whereas RRS 102g, Kirk not listed.

Bought the Sunway one from TK, weighs 110g

Does anyone knows of any shops that carry third party battery grip for d750 now?

I'm eyeing the Nikon D750, and would likely purchase it in HK. If so, I'd definitely need a RRS plate too.
