Hi guys, I have been eyeing on the D750 for quite sometime. Do you think the price will drop in the near future when D500 come out?

The D500 is a APS-C cam while the D750 is a full frame camera. Hence if any drop in pricing, it won't be significant.
There are always new cameras coming now and then that will always have an effect on existing models.
The question to ask is: if I get the d750 now and its price dropped by say $600 six months later, would I feel "banged" or would i feel glad that the enjoyment of having the camera 6 mths earlier is worth more than $600.
To me, photography is meant to be enjoyed, concerns about the measure of the economic value of a camera or its resale value will only stifle how you want to use the camera.

Don't think so, D500 is using DX lens while D750 is using FX lens ...

I fully agreed. I wonder should i get a used D700 as back up?

I'd go a D810 or a D5 any day.
