Nikon D7000 rank higher than Canon 5Dk2 in dxomark

i am trying to stay as neutral as possible.
(1) D7000 is not a FF as indicated in the DXO
(2) I don't get the logic of ranking cameras based on 1 value, eg ISO for sports? We all know there is more to it. Similiarly, having 14-bit better for portrait and having 14-stop EV better for landscape? We all know there is more to it.
(3) It goes back to the old drawing block. Before Pentax comes out with the multi exposure, everyone was saying they don't need it. Use ND is good enough. Now everyone is singing its praises. Now D7000 has 14 stop EV, everyone is googaa-ing over it cos can recover blown highlights or shadows. Are we playing to the tune of these new features. IMO, these new features makes taking photos easier. But in the process, gone are the days when you will need to manually tweak the parameters of a photo. Your DSLR will doing the sweeping pano shots, merge the HDR, allow you to overlay the multi exposure shot in camera. Over reliance on automation. Is that a good thing or not? Do you still remember how to drive a manual car?
Anyway, any of these cameras are good enough. IMO, by the time I turn 70, my eyes will not differentiate how colourful, how much DR, how misty the sea is. My mind will only be filled with the memories of the love ones, friends, moments, emotions those photos bring. The moment of being there is more important than having the gears and being not there. Hmm...I suddenly have a new perspective in life. I need to be in front of the camera more than behind it. I guess I have to thank DXO, D7000 and TS.

This whole DXO mark is a big joke.
1st, they dun tell u what & how they measure, juz generic, "bit depth using portrait", "DR using landscape".
2nd, The whole center of the universe was based on 35mm FF format. Juz click on the medium format & u'll see "crop factor = 0.7"
Credibility??? I say its a whole load of BS & nothing more than that.

Tokina, Hoya and Kenko are one big happy family. Now, who owns who is besides the point. I am honestly shocked that as a longtime Pentax user, you have not heard of THK, especially since they own Pentax.
The point is Pentax is not independent, unlike Olympus/Panasonic/Sony/Nikon/Canon. In fact, because of the poor sales performance of Pentax in 2008-2009, Hoya's boss was deliberating whether to dump Pentax or not. See here.
"HOYA's CEO, Suzuki revealed his idea for Pentax digital camera department:
'Don't think keeping (the Pentax digital camera sector) in the HOYA Group forever,
Let it merge with other companies, or independent is also OK.' "
But I suppose they should be alright now. At least, in Japan, they are doing pretty OK.
