Just brought a AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8 lens this friday, and i really like the bokeh it produces. Only problem i have now is without VR my shots sometimes get slightly blurred, cause my hands just cannot keep really still. So i guess i have get use to not having VR assisting me in my shots and to get use to the weight of my cam as well ( i use to use those small compact camera ). Maybe i should do some push ups and hit the gym to strength my arms and hands :bsmilie: But overall really like this lens. :thumbsup:

I play cheat abit...use sling bag as the "tripod base" to support my elbow....but the breathing still the most impt of all...

Ohhhhhhhh good idea. Will try out the sling bag method when i shoot next week.

Also for the breathing, do you guys hold your breath, slow down your breathing or exhale slowly?

Hi all,
Is there a way to check out my current Nikon D5000 shutter cycles?
Is shutter cycle means the number of shutter release (or shots) taken after the camera was put on the shelf for sale? And there’s no way to reset this number? Just like the car’s total mileage.

Hi godaikyoko, problem is i forgot the breathing method use for firing M16 liao . Too long didn't fire already. Think if i were to go for M16 range during my next reservice i sure bobo like crazy. :bsmilie:

there are some software on the net to check for ur shutter counts, if i am not wrong u can reset it in your shooting menu..
