What's a better prime lens to go with the D5K?
Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.4G
or
Sigma 30mm f/1.4?
Do consider the Nikkor AFS 35mm 1.8G DX lens instead of the 50mm.
Thought of it, but quite keen on having f1.4 ley...
hey! i bought my D5000 3 weeks ago and its my first DSLR!but i have a question that i hope can get answered quickly cause im so scared!
yesterday, after reading a book about the camera (not the manual), i discovered the focus ring. i understand that i must change my lens to M mode before using it. i did, ok so thats fine. but my setting was still at auto!
so my question is: will my above-mentioned action cause the autofocus on the camera to spoil? :S
im really worried cause i keep having this feeling that the camera like cannot autofocus!![]()
hmm. true. so enlighten me abit here.. then how come can autofocus? haha.I thought D5000 does not have build in auto focus motor, need lens which got built in focus motor?
