I know of two individuals who are "upgrading" from D3 to a D3x and happy with that.

Wow. A Nikon D3X is really much more expensive than a Nikon D800E or a Nikon D4!

Back then I suppose. These days the words on the street is that D800 is better than D3x except for build.

Ya I agree but well to each their own. I guess if they can get it at a price they are willing to pay.
