Nikon D3k is out!

The D3000 is meant to replace the D60, as the lowest entry-level DSLR. Some specs:

- No built-in AF motor (expected)
- No live-view
- 10.2 MP (same as D60)
- "Guide" mode for begineers
- US$599 with 18-55 VR lens, that's less than S$1k!

i think its more of d40 and d40x replacement? no?

anyway... the "guide" mode is pretty cool
 

I think D3000 uses a CCD sensor. Check Nikon homepage. But need to confirm if its the same sensor as D60? I think D5000 uses same sensor CMOS as D90. Something like that.
 

nikon really churning out bodies faster then lenses. lol
