---Same question with, 70-200 VRII, what's for ? Just for nano + better VR ?
But people still sold their current 70-200 VRI and buy the new 70-200 VRII
THAT BUTTON make you the coffee bros !!!
Anyway.... I have my $2K floating about - to get ONE of the 85 f1.4..... I'll compare BOTH on release and ONE will be mine !!

Faster in terms of aperture size. The tamron's max aperture is f6.3 at the tele end, as compared to nikkor's f5.6.AF should be faster
but VR still lose to VC i think
Unlikely since the old power switch is still there. There are guesses that it is a new live view switch, or a AF mode switch, or a shutter release mode mode (single/continuous/timer) switch, video start or mode dial lock. Really doubt it's a power button switch
anybody keen to get the new 85 and dump their old 85 1.4 can kindly PM me :bsmilie::bsmilie:
I seriously think that is a D90 replacement..with the wrong picture and model no. but (mostly) correct specs.
yay! 55-300mm! hope its cheaper than the 70-300mm!
Wrong ! According to our friend NikonRumors, D3100 is replacement of D3000, not same with D90 replacement.
http://nikonrumors.com/2010/08/15/weekly-nikon-related-newslinks-71.aspx
Nikon D3100 have a 100 12800 ISO range
D90 replacement ISO range could be even higher, up to 25600 ISO.
So both of D3100 and D90 replacement have improved ISO range, surpassed D700, a full frame camera.
wow nikon is replacing a 1 year model to compete with others...
anyway it's getting exciting....high hope for the D90 replacement!![]()
